International

Our internationally oriented team works together with you in English, German or Chinese.

Today, there is no lack of data out there – you just have to understand what the data is telling you!

Companies from every sector can benefit from thorough data analysis to enhance their data driven decision making. InterStat Consulting helps you to analyze your data – our services are available in German, English, and in Chinese!

We are a consulting company that specializes in statistical consulting, explorative data analysis, statistical programming, and econometric modelling. In addition to this, we offer a range of training solutions, including courses in data analysis, econometrics and the usage of statistical software. All services and courses are tailored to your needs, so that we can provide you with the optimal solution – in German, English or Chinese.

InterStat Consulting makes sure that these solutions are of the highest quality. Our team consists of highly qualified consultants, who, as scientists, make use of the latest robust results from empirical research to offer effective and timely support.

SERVICES

InterStat Consulting offers your company an individual service that is tailored to your needs – in three different languages. All of our services can be combined to arrive at the solution that is best for your company. Your satisfaction with our work is of the highest importance to us, which is why we take the time to thoroughly discuss every project or course with you personally before we begin with our work.

STATISTICAL CONSULTING

Statistical consulting means that we support you during the entirety of an empirical project. We analyze the data, estimate econometric models and forecasts, present you with the results of the analysis and what you can take away from it for your decision making. Our team will combine all services that InterStat Consulting offers to provide you with dependable, timely and effective advice – not only in Germany or Europe, but also in China.

EXPLORATIVE DATA ANALYSIS

The first step to approach data is an explorative data analysis – and in many cases this step might already be sufficient! InterStat Consulting helps you with the preparation of your data for analysis, calculates descriptive statistics, and visualizes important features of your data to give you an impression of what the data is telling you. Such an analysis can already provide useful hints that can guide you in your decision making.

STATISTICAL PROGRAMMING

It is often desirable to automate certain steps during data analysis or certain models may have to be re-estimated for several data sets. Depending on the size of the data set and the complexity of the method used to analyze the data, using software like Excel is rarely advisable. InterStat Consulting helps you to program algorithms that do the work for you. We offer support in different programming languages for data analysis – R, Python, Stata, Matlab and more – and we make sure that the written code runs in your company without problems. Not only will this save you time, but you can also conduct routine data analysis in the future!

ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS

Econometrics combines economic theory, statistics, and mathematical methods to analyze economic and business data. Such data could be country specific economic data, financial market data or business data, such as sales or after-sales data. InterStat Consulting conducts econometric analyses for cross-sectional data, panel data, and time series data – thus, providing appropriate methods for any empirical question.
Does your company have data that requires more than just explorative data analysis? InterStat Consulting provides you with the results of sophisticated econometric models that are tailored to your specific needs and the question at hand.

COURSES

In the long-run, companies can benefit from employee training in data analysis, statistics, econometrics, and programming using different software packages. InterStat Consulting offers a variety of courses that cover a wide range of topics – from basic statistics and linear regression modelling to time series analysis and its implementation using statistical software packages as well as pure programming courses. All courses are taught at an appropriate level and can either focus more on practical applications or on theoretical issues. Our consultants have extensive experience teaching at universities.

TEAM

Our team comprises qualified and motivated university graduates and experienced researchers, who are employed as our core freelance employees working on a project basis. For each project we select an appropriate team from all available consultants to achieve the best solution for our clients.

In addition to exciting project work in a motivated team, InterStat Consulting connects highly qualified academics with successful companies. While clients profit from our know-how and a research-driven problem solving approach, our consultants have the chance to find new research opportunities or even new career prospects.
